Falls, and slips from the cab or the ladder of the truck mixer are common causes of driver injuries. Pay close attention to your footing and handholds when climbing on and off the mixer. You should make sure that your position is secure while working on the truck mixer. Keep all parts of your body and loose clothing away from rotating parts and pinch points. Avoid the drum rollers and be careful of the clearance between the drum and frame, and any other moving parts.
